OK, time for a little bit of back ground on the Marelians

somewhere in the deepest darkest reaches of space, theres a race of Pony Aliens that have fantastic technology, powerful psychic abilities, and never ending life spans. Another thing that makes them special it there ability to reform them selfs using Marelian matter if there ever squelched (I think you know what that means) how ever after eons of use the matter supplies have reached dangerously low levels and unless they want to give up there immortality they must find a new source of Marelian matter. after weeks of searching they have found an renewable source of matter on a planet with two satellites, and now a small team of Marelians head to the part of the planet called Equestria to find and gather as much of this matter as they can, the substance that the inhabitance call, apples.
